Run the numbers before you scale
Know your cost per item, then know how many you need to sell.
Write down what one unit costs you: ingredients, materials, packaging, and the time you spend on it.
Then divide by the price. The number that matters is how many units you must sell before the day is worth it. Most student booths that fail do not fail on demand, they fail on a margin nobody counted.
